Mission
In order to attend the Academy, they must select a home school umbrella. They are the record keepers to assure that students are putting in at least 20 hrs a week in educational studies.
We often hear parents say they’d love to home school, but don't know where to begin. That’s why finding a home school partner is essential. At Jubilee we’re committed to providing you the parent with needed skills and resources to see your child reclaim his/her love of learning both inside and outside of the classroom. We team with you so your child can succeed. Success breeds success. You the parent also teach at home with materials and new techniques, but with a daily outline you can feel comfortable with. We believe when teachers modify instructional methods based on students' needs, students will thrive. Students who work best in small groups or with individualized instruction (those with attention difficulties, learning disabilities, etc.) are perfect for the day program. We provide a core academic curriculum which responds to the needs and personality of each student. Students with language based learning disabilities struggle with math facts, problem solving concepts, and difficulties with personal and academic organization which prevent them from academic success in traditional settings. We place a special emphasis on reading and writing that spans all subjects taught. Middle and high school students who have trouble adjusting to a traditional classroom setting, due to learning disabilities, or social difficulties are best presented with care and creative teaching and have tremendous growth. Students develop self esteem and confidence in their abilities. In order to attend the Academy, they must select a home school umbrella. They are the record keepers to assure that students are putting in at least 20 hrs a week in educational studies. Many students will attend a year or two to catch up on academic skills. Some students choose to stay a year or two while making gains toward grade level achievements, preparing to return to mainstream education. Others choose to graduate with our assistance. |
